Today, Propane Northwest is a part of ThompsonGas, the sixth largest propane operations in the US. We provide propane services to residential and commercial customers nationwide, and have delivered fair propane prices consistently year after year.

We are a company who operates our business principles based on old-fashioned family values of building trust and serving others. These have withstood the test of time and will never grow old.
Propane Northwest began just outside of Portland, Oregon in a town called Donald, with a plan to provide excellent local service to the Northwest.
The first employee, delivery driver, Larry Nichols, was hired. Larry retired in 2020, but still drives seasonally for the company.
2008
Propane Northwest opened our facility in Kingston, WA. This area saw success with the help of our current delivery manager, Larry Ringnalda, who helped run routes and service our first customers.
2012
Propane Northwest Purchased a small propane company in Buckley, WA, eventually growing into our Tacoma presence today.
2013
To keep up with growing demands, Propane Northwest added our Vancouver location.
2017
Propane Northwest joined the ThompsonGas family.
2019
Our family again grew as we added Associated Petroleum’s Propane business, and folded it into the Propane Northwest brand, and ThompsonGas family.
